Spring Afternoon Basic Style + Outfit Love
I realized that I got my Birkenstocks almost a year ago, and I have never showcased them in a style post. What better way to showcase them than to show them off on a sunny, Spring afternoon. As a part of my basic style series, I am sharing how to formulate simple pieces from your wardrobe to make you look stylish in a simple, effortless way. I included my morning coffee because I usually travel with a beverage, maybe not in a mug like that, but I can't help to not show off this adorable mug from Anthropologie. It is a comfy style that you can easily wear to shop at the farmer's market, or go for a friend date to a coffee shop. I am actually going to wear this look to class today since that is a simple, casual event of my day. I recently got this super comfy top from Target. I am really excited about the initiative that Target is taking to make their clothes stylish, and trendy. I found this top in the women's area, and I love the simplicity and texture. It has the texture of an old, comfy t-shirt that is the go-to t-shirt. When I first saw it, I fell in love wuth the fabric, and I loved the color. Nude pinks are adorable, and I love how it is a little longer of a shirt. Everything about it is lovely.
Spring exudes basic style and layering, especially here in Oregon. In Oregon, or at least Portland, Spring is the season for the greenest grass, and the rainy days. But there are some sunny days sprinkled in there too. Simple style is great for walking or running around town, doing errands, and for busy lifestyles. It is perfect for throwing a light jacket over to keep the chill off, or to mix and match with other pieces.
