Lotions & Potions

I used to have this huge collection of lip glosses and lip balms, I would carry them around with me everywhere. I had to have a bigger purse just to carry around my lip glosses and lip balms. I basically had a beauty bar in my purse with other various beauty up-keep items I toted around. I have limited the beauty items that I can keep in my purse, which is very much needed because because no girl has use for 15 lip glosses in their everyday travels unless their lips are super flaky. My skin always reacts funny to the changing of the seasons. When Spring was transitioning to Summer, my lips would be chapped, my hands would feel dry, and I would get little dry patches on my skin. Well, it is that time again for the seasons to change from Summer into Fall, and while the weather and season is still Summery, my lips and hands are still suffering from this transition from Summer to Fall. My body knows that cold weather is coming, and it is freaking out. To keep my lips and hands soft and soothed, I use these amazing hand creams, and lip repair balms.
L'occitane En Provence hand creams are so luxurious, and their fragrance is not overpowering. I love the sweet smell of lavender in their Lavande hand cream. I received a mini tube of Amande when it was my birthday as a gift from L'occitane. I love this almond smell. I got my friend, Morgan hooked on the Amande hand cream, she loves it! My gift from L'occitane came in this adorable zipper pouch. Now this lip balm from L'occitane is one of my very favorites! Last week, I had dry lips, due to the upcoming season change, and this Ultra Rich Lip balm cured it! It is such a great lip balm!

First Aid Beauty Fab Ultra Repair Lip Therapy is a fabulous lip balm! And isn't the packaging super cute? I got this lip balm last winter when the cold was sometimes unbearable un my lips, because living with dry lips is not a fun thing to suffer through... at any time of the year. This lip balm helped my lips immensely! It has peppermint in it, so the cooling, minty sensation helps make dry lips feel better. It is also a great gloss for on top of a matte lip stick for when you want some shine.

Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Hand Therapy is one of the best hand repair creams out there. It doesn't really have specific scent, it does have a fragrance, but it is hard to describe it. My first encounter with Crabtree & Evelyn was a few years ago when I went on a trip with my friend, Kirsten. Her mom had a Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Hand Therapy set, it had an exfoliant, and a hand cream within the set. I fell in love with the brand after I used it. When I found Gardeners Hands in Sisters, Oregon, I had to get it! I just need to find the exfoliant now. Time to hop on the freeway to Washington Square Mall where the Crabtree & Evelyn store is. :) Gardeners Hands offers long lasting moisture, and isn't the packaging adorable? Packaging catches my eye. If it is a great product, that is awesome, but if the packaging is adorable/eye pleasing, it is a double win.
Happy Tuesday, Lovelies!
