Cognac Outfit Love

Neutral colors are so fun to style because they literally go everything! This style came to me in a desperate thought, I was thinking up blog post ideas actually, and I was also thinking of the different ways I could style these shoes, then this style popped into my head. Sometimes the styles that I put together in my head don't really look that great when I put them together in real life, but with the simplicity, and the use of neutral colors, I was pretty sure that it would turn out "darling" as my sister puts it. I have to brag about these shoes! I was inspired by my Aunt Aimee to get these shoes. She has  the gray Nanette sandals, and I didn't think gray would go with everything, so I chose cognac. I feel that the cognac color better displays an "everyday" kind of mood. The bag was purely a purchase on a whim. The bag is also in the color cognac. I am so in love with this bag! It is the perfect size, and perfect color, it is another "everyday" mood item. Now, my hair is definitely not an "everyday" style. I spent multiple hours trying to perfect the messiness for the messy bun. It was the two double Dutch braids that took me forever. I am so happy with how it turned out! I am happy with how this whole style turned out!

  1. Oh my gosh- I have those shoes and I love, love, love them! My sister made fun of me when I bought them but I stuck to my gut and I am glad I did. They are so comfortable and easy to pair with a lot of different looks like you said. I just came across your blog via link up and I am so glad that I did- I have a hard time finding other bloggers in college. Great look, Courtney! I can't wait to read more! xo

    1. Always stick with your gut! They are adorable, huh? Super comfortable, super cute, and perfect! Yes, I am starting college next month, taking chemistry, anthropology, and ceramics. Taking one rigorous course so I can have a smooth entry into college. I am excited to write more about my college experience! Thanks for stopping by!
