Eco Emi May Box
I know! It's been a while. I got my Eco Emi May 31st. I am finally blogging about it. Since this is my last Eco Emi for a while, I wanted to try all the products before I blogged about it.
I am gonna miss Eco Emi. I am definitely going to do it again soon though. It was a Christmas Present, so I have to stop at some point. I am definitely doing it again. They are so much fun!
What I love about Eco Emi is that all their wrapping and confetti things are organic or recycled! Their whole package is recycled, eco friendly!
So, inside the box, I found a little blue satchel...
And inside the satchel were many things. Many organic things. First of all, I pulled out was a tangerine lip exfolient from The All Natural Face.
To be honest, this is the only thing out of my whole Eco Emi May Box that I have not tried yet. I feel like a slacker or a lazy person, but I just haven't tried it yet. I'm sure it's wonderful and smells good, and I will give it a try some time!
This goes with another item on the card, so the last thing I found in the box I am going to do now with the lip scrub, and because they are from the same company. (The All Natural Face)
Now, I have used this one! I do love this lip gloss. It makes my lips shimmery and pretty, tastes and smells good. It is like a candy cane peppermint stick in a bottle! It's in a cute pink color and the way it smooths my lips is fantastic! I love this stuff!
Here is what the card has to say about the two products: "The All Natural Face Mint Infused Vegan Lip Gloss in Peppermint Stick and Tangerine Vegan Lip Exfolient: I love the products by The All Natural Face, and this is the perfect duet to get your kisser ready for the summer! The lip scrub is filled with natural exfoliating ingredients and nutritious oils that will leave your lips deeply moisturized and ready for this shiny gloss in the perfect summer pretty pink with peppermint oils ready to plump and sooth your lips while tasting great!"
I couldn't agree more about the lip gloss, and I will have to try the tangerine lip exfolient. I need to do that...
The next item I pulled out of the satchel is called Glee Gum in Cinnamon. I tried it and I like it. It's not too bad... but I was afraid to try it and have it get stuck on my braces... because that wouldn't be good. But I tried it and it wasn't too bad. Not bad at all. Everybody else said it was kinda gross, but I didn't think so!
It was good, if I do say so myself! Here is what the card has to say about Glee Gum! : "Cinnamon Gum by Glee Gum: When I found out that regular chewing gum contained plastic that was not only bad for me, but bad for the planet as well, I turned to a more natural gum. Glee uses natural chicle, not synthetic resins to get that gummy texture and it comes in many flavors! Better yet Verve, Inc, the manufacturer of Glee is dedicated to linking world communities creating environmentally and socially responsible products.
That sounds like a good deal! I want to try Glee Gum's other flavors! And I'm going to stop chewing on 'plastic' from now on....
The next product out of the satchel was Barleans Omega Swirl Vegan Oil in Blueberry & Pomegranate and Mango flavors. I could not wait to try this, so the next days, I used these! They are liquid vitamins and they help care for your skin, hair and other things! I am more drawn to the benefit of helping skin and hair because as a teenager, I need that help sometimes.
These liquid vitamins are so yummy! They don't have a disgusting, revolting taste. They taste divine and sweet.
They even help with cholesterol!
With that said, my mom is thinking about getting some for the family, since both sides of my family have high cholesterol, and my dad. So, I hope we make an investment in these. I like these!
Here is what the card has to say: "Omega Swirl Vegan Oil in Blueberry Pomegranate and Fish Oil in Mango Peach by Barleans: Barleans is the natural choice for getting your Omegas. Always fresh, raw and organic, these oils come in a variety of flavors to suit your taste buds. I always have a bottle of their vegan omega 3, 6, 9 swirl in my refrigerator, and find it a delicious treat by itself or added to a smoothie. This box features two kinds for you to try. Getting your omegas is important, and Barleans offer terrific ways to do it!"
I am hoping to get our own bottle of Barleans soon :)
The next item I found in the satchel was Wildly Natural Seaweed Argan Shampoos and Conditioners by The Seaweed Bath Company. At first, I was worried about this shampoo, but afterwards, I had nothing to fear! This shampoo and conditioner work amazing on my hair and it feels so clean! I love this shampoo and conditioner. I hope to get more later in life. I was really happy with this product. It made my hair so soft and brought out the curls, but not too wild. It didn't make my hair frizzy at all! It was very nice!
This is what the card had to say about this product: "Wildly Natural Seaweed Argan Shampoos and Conditioners by The Seaweed Bath Company: With a combination of seaweed extract, argan oil and vitamin E, this shampoo and conditioner set will cleanse and nourish your hair and scalp, leaving you with beautifully moisturized strands. We are featuring the unscented shampoo and the citrus conditioner."
My hair felt like exactly as she described! WONDERFUL!
So many things fit into that satchel, yes, yet another item from the satchel. Ellbees Original Garlic Seasoning and Rub. Hmmmm.... this was an 'ok' product. My dad made some chicken and used this on it, it wasn't the best tasting. It was good though! But I would like to try some other flavors. I do like garlic things. It was 'ok.' It wasn't BAD. It was GOOD but not great.
Here is what the card says about Ellbees: "Ellbees Original Garlic Seasoning and Rub: "This seasoning is packed full of Garlic and just the right amount of peppers to make your mouth water. It is a great rub for grilled portabellas, a wonderful seasoning for baked veggies, or an easy and delicious twist on traditional garlic bread. This is a fantastic go-to spice for grilling season!
Hmm... maybe I should try it on bread and make garlic bread! This stuff really isn't that bad. I should try it on veggies and bread and things. Hmmm? yummm!!!!!
Now we are done with the satchel! Time to move onto the rest of the box... I got these interesting Pinto Beans and Flax Chips by Beanitos. Hmm... I do like them! They have an interesting flavor! Maybe dipped in nacho cheese or salsa, but plain... they weren't too hot. I want to get these again and experiment with them. They come with a lot of the chips in the bag, and I like that. That means you are actually getting enough for the money you spent on it and you aren't getting ripped off. I like that. There were a lot of chips in the bag. AWESOME!
Here is what the card had to say about the chips: "Pinto Beans and Flax Chips by Beanitos: If you are looking for a low glycemic, great tasting snack that is not full of empty calories, than try Beanitos. They come in many flavors and are packed with non GMO veggie fiber, protein and omega 3s. Their motto is "Crunch your beans", and you will have a fun, guilt-free snack time doing just that!"
I unwrapped this out of the recycled tissue paper... a candle in Jasmine scent and a Chocolate Lip Balm by Beeluxe.
The candle smelled good, and I guess I lied up there... I haven't tried the Chocolate lip balm either... I just remembered. I have soo many lip balms, I need to finish those before I start another... nah. I'll probably try it later today or something. Ha.
Here is what the card has to say about the CANDLE: "Jasmine Candle Tin by Beeluxe: Beeluxe has some of the very best organic candles that smell simply amazing! This candle's 100% clean and natural ingredients creates the perfect candle addition to any home or office."
I had to change that one up a bit because I didn't get the "Mangosteen and Pineapple candle"... I got the Jasmine candle...
Ok, here is what the card has to say about the LIP BALM: "Chocolat Lip Balm by Beeluxe: We all need a little more chocolate in our lives, and the decadent goodness of this chap stick is just the thing for a mini chocolate fix. Made with organic ingredients, it is not only great for your lips, but good for the planet as well and is the perfect balm to complete your lip care treatment this month."
I am definitely gonna try that lip balm!
Ok, well, that was my last Eco Emi opening for a little while :( a little sad, but it'll be ok. Not a big deal.
I had lots of fun opening and getting awesome organic products in a little gift every month! A super cute idea!
