Coffee Cake
I thought the Easy As Pizza Pie Pizza Bisquick Pizza was very good! I wanted to make more things with Bisquick. It seems easy and the outcome is always very good. I have been wanting to make homemade coffee cake for a while, so when I Googled Bisquick Recipes, I found a recipe for Bisquick Coffee cake. It's so good! Tastes very good with coffee!
INGREDIENTS
Dough:
* 2 Cups Bisquick
* 2/3 cup of milk
* 1 egg
* 2 tablespoons sugar
Topping:
* 1/3 cup of Bisquick
* 1/3 cup brown sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 2 tablespoons butter
INGREDIENTS
Dough:
* 2 Cups Bisquick
* 2/3 cup of milk
* 1 egg
* 2 tablespoons sugar
Topping:
* 1/3 cup of Bisquick
* 1/3 cup brown sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 2 tablespoons butter
MY PROCESS/DIRECTIONS (With pictures)
First preheat oven to 400 degrees
Grease a deep pie plate, 8"x8" square pan, or 9"x9" square pan.
First add the 2 cups of Bisquick into a bowl
Then add the 2/3 cups of milk into the Bisquick
Crack one egg into the bowl
The last to add to the dough of the mix is 2 tablespoons of sugar
Mix the dough mix together and spread it in the greased pan
Now to make the topping...
In another bowl (or the same one, rinsed), add the 1/3 cup of Bisquick
Next, add the 1/3 cup of brown sugar
Then add the 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Then lastly, add the 2 tablespoons of butter to the mix
Mix the topping mixture with a fork or pastry mixer until crumbly
Mine turned out a little more 'doughy' than crumbly, but
it still worked
Then, spread the topping mix over the dough and drag a butter knife across like you were making
a tic-tac-toe board several times.
Then bake for 25 minutes
When the baking process is done, serve up with your favorite blend of coffee :)
I like putting Nutella in my coffee with half and half and some sugar.
YUM!!!
